Vietnam has mesmerized many photographers and inspired them to make vivid and colorful time-lapse videos in order to highlight the charm of this Southeast Asian country.
Time-lapse photography is a technique whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured is much lower than that used to view the sequence, according to Wikipedia. When played at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing.
The video made by local Le Van Anh has received nearly 54,000 views in addition to over 1,300 likes and lots of compliments from YouTube users after it was posted on the video-sharing site on March 29.
“Many pretty shots of Da Nang. People and the lifestyle there are beautiful, thank you very much for making this video,” Le Thi Bich Phuong commented.
Nineteen-year-old Anh’s video has been embraced because of its beautiful scenes and the young man’s expression of love for his homeland.
“I want to make something for the land where I was born and grew up,” Anh told
“I love it with all my heart. Even that I couldn’t deliver all the beauties of this city but I do hope that you guys would love it like I do,” Anh wrote about his work on YouTube.
